My house is done!!!
It took one solid month of super hard work by me and my wonderful family, the generosity of a lot of loving friends, and plenty of anxiety-napping. But it is finally done and it is PERFECT!!!
It is essentially the real life version of the plastic Barbie dream mansion, but only if Barbie was on a super tight budget and so she bought a one bedroom townhouse, and then she scouted every flea market and yard sale in the state, and then her mom swooped in and made it all look presentable.
And it is a dream come true! I love everything about it, and I am fully prepared now to lean in to my reclusive ways because my house is like a little cocoon of happiness and it is pink and glittery, and every single room has twinkle lights in it.
And it is all mine!!!
A friend asked me the other day if I was going to be sad living alone…
And the answer is no… no I’m not. And the reason is because every day when I get home and there is nobody around…
