for a rainy day

I Broke My Creativity

My creativity is broken.

That happens sometimes. I’ll go through days and weeks and sometimes months where I am on fire and cranking out blogs and articles and meeting all sorts of my deadlines:

And then that all catches up with me and I get tired and all the creativity stops.

And then I nap.

Like… I nap A LOT!

And then people ask “Why haven’t there been any blogs lately?”, but I don’t really hear them because I’m deep into episode 13 of the new season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

And I nap some more. And still I have no snarky ridiculous stories to tell because I’m too tired, and my laptop is all the way across the room.

So I order a pizza. And nap some more.

And I think “I should write a blog”, but then I just re-watch Kimmy Schmidt instead (because for real, it’s the BEST).

And I write a blog about how I have nothing to blog about.

And you think, “Well, I’ll never get these minutes of my life back, so thanks a lot Tracy.”

But I don’t want to disappoint you with all of this nothing so I give you this link to a comic I wrote and illustrated, which was published about 2 months ago over at The Establishment, but I forgot to post here on the blog:

How to Interact With A Baby

Also, I now owe you five minutes of your life back. The time and location of this return will vary from person to person, but rest assured it will include me handing you fudge.

Also, here’s a video of a baby to make you happy (who also happens to be my super cute newest nephew, and the very baby who inspired the above comic).
