I was watching Footloose the other day and I thought “people really have no idea what life in the south is like because in these movies it’s all people in overalls and thick country accents who spout bible verses in regular conversations and say things like ‘well shuck my corn’ while they chew on hay”. I wish I was exaggerating. And I thought what an incredibly unfair representation of my south.
